Scientific-Production Enterprise Aerotechnica was founded on the 29th of April 1991 by a group of young officers - graduates from the famous Soviet military school Kiev Air Defense Higher Engineering Radio Technical School, who after retiring from the army found the application of their knowledge and skills in difficult economic conditions prevailing in Ukraine in the early 90`s. In those years, a private company, specializing on the design and manufacture of such technically complex product, as radar hardware and software for air defense, air force and air traffic control, was posted a number of problems solution of which depended the company`s future. In the early 90`s were developed first items of the telegraph network adapters for the aeronautical fixed telecommunication and radar extractors A1000 set for the needs of the state enterprise for servicing air traffic of Ukraine "UKRAERORUKH". Over the next 10 years Aerotechnica created and implemented automated systems for the six centers of air traffic control (ATC) in Ukraine and the two terminal zones for the mentioned enterprise.
