The French company Keolis intends to provide a new passenger experience to Gulf residents

Its main focus is to provide a new passenger experience to the residents while developing Partnership with local Public Transport Authorities. The Group has strong growth ambitions and has established skilled teams that aim to develop activities in several countries especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Keolis is a leading operator in passenger transport, operating all modes: buses, coaches, light rail, metro, trains and parkings. In particular, the company is a world leader in automatic metro (driverless) and light rail networks.

Within two years, Keolis has expanded its presence in five cities: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah and Doha.
When Jean-Pierre Farandou, Executive Chairman of Keolis recently visited the United Arab Emirates on Sunday October 11th 2015, he stated: we are convinced we can bring relevant world class expertise to enhance the public transport in the Gulf Countries and provide a new passenger experience to the residents.
Keolis understands that Authorities in Gulf countries will focus on building new public transport systems and are opening the market through competitive tendering. Farandou added: We are prepared to take engineers from the region to London or Melbourne for example, to train them in our operations; we are keen to invest in training, skills upgrade and best practice sharing.
