Dubai, 12 November 2015 -- Giving tomorrow’s aviation leaders a taste of the excitement of the industry through robotics and technical workshops is a cornerstone of “Airbus Little Engineer” initiative that was created to engage the future talent of this region in science, technology and engineering.
A highlight of this year’s Dubai Airshow program is the Future Day that took place on Thursday November 12 during which “Airbus Little Engineer” workshops were held at the Dubai Airport Free Zone pavilion in collaboration with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, Mubadala and the UAE Space Agency.
As part of the program, 50 students from the UAE took part in the “A380 Assembly” and “Space” workshops of “Airbus Little Engineer” giving them hands-on introduction to what goes into assembling the world’s largest aircraft and to the wonders of space and how satellite technology is guiding the future of communications and aerospace.
