Interroll grows strongly in first half of 2015

Sant'Antonino, Switzerland, 7 August 2015. Interroll Group is continuing on its growth course in 2015 and has gotten off to a good start to the 2015 financial year thanks to significant growth rates in order intake, sales and earnings.
The company increased its sales strongly by 9.1 percent to CHF 171.3 million (H1/2014: CHF 157.1 million). Order intake rose by 19.3 percent compared to last year to CHF 206.3 million (H1/2014: CHF 172.9 million).
All Interroll product groups have developed positively and the company continued to pursue its internationalization strategy. The share of sales of the Americas region has risen to 27 percent, while Asia Pacific is currently at 13 percent.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose to CHF 17.5 million (H1/2014: CHF 8.8 million). The EBIT margin was 10.2 percent compared to 5.6 percent last year. Net income rose significantly compared to last year to CHF 12.8 million (H1/2014: CHF 7.1 million).
In the first half of 2015, Interroll made investments of CHF 12.3 million. These pertained to the new building in Baal / Hückelhoven, Germany, among other projects. By moving the Interroll Academy and the Interroll Research Center, Interroll wants to set new standards for training its employees and customers and substantially strengthen its innovation activities. By relocating the Coating Center to the Hückelhoven site in the fall of 2015, Interroll is also seeking to optimise its own internal logistics and shorten delivery times. Furthermore, production is to be even more closely interlinked.
The balance sheet figures also reflect the sustained financial stability of the Interroll Group. Total assets reached CHF 282.3 million as of 30 June 2015. Equity amounted to CHF 192.3 million.
